Bayview Gardens Wins Social Housing Development of the Year at the 2026 Business Post National Property Awards

North and East Housing Association has been shortlisted in four categories at the 2026 All Ireland Housing Awards – from the Chartered Institute of Housing. The awards recognise creativity, innovation and community impact across housing in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Each of the shortlisted NEHA projects and nominees reflects a strong partnership approach and a commitment to delivering homes and communities that support wellbeing, inclusion and long term sustainability.

North and East Housing Association are delighted that Bayview Gardens in Drogheda has been shortlisted for Social Housing Development of the Year at the Business Post National Property Awards 2026. The recognition highlights a major regeneration project that transforms a long‑neglected brownfield site into 58 sustainable homes that blend heritage, restoration and contemporary living.

As we look back on 2025, one number stands out: 143 new homes delivered across towns and communities in Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, Meath and beyond. Each home represents security, belonging and the start of a new chapter for families and individuals.

Safe decorations – Inspect fairy lights and decorations and remove any that are damaged or have frayed wires. Ensure exterior lights are plugged into an RCD device. Avoid daisy-chaining and overloading sockets.
