Summer events are well underway in North & East providing a great opportunity for young and young- at- heart to enjoy getting together for fun and games. Seaview Grove Sports Day brought out the competitor in everyone who attended with all races fiercely fought until the end. An Chearnóg  tenants helped to organise a “Reeling in the Years” event where neighbours got together to reminisce about years gone by and enjoyed some great food and refreshments, chat and Craíc to beat the band! North & East Housing Association has been announced as the Public Sector magazine winner for “SERVICES TO SOCIAL HOUSING IN LEINSTER REGION” North & East is delighted to receive the award as recognition of the quality of our Housing Management services developed over  the past twenty five years.  We currently have some 500 homes in management and plan to increase this to over 700 by the end of 2020. We provide housing that meets a wide spectrum of needs, including families, older people, homeless households and people with physical and learning disabilities. As part of our summer events, the tenants of An Chearnóg are invited to a “Reeling in the Years” event on 23rd August. The idea is for young and old to come together and reminisce about their community with stories and recollections from past and present. The children will gather together for a game of rounders on the green.

Time to Vote in the 2018 Garden Competition

North & East was delighted to welcome the Minister for Housing & Urban Renewal  Damien English to visit a number of our upcoming Developments in Drogheda, Co. Louth.  The Minister was accompanied by the Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr. Liam Reilly, Joan Martin Louth County Council CEO and Joe McGuinness Director of Service, Louth County Council.

North & East this week allocated 10 new homes in Lough na Glack, Carickmacross, Co. Monaghan. The houses are the second phase of 38 homes in this previously unfinished estate to be provided by North & East in partnership Monaghan County Council  and NARPS (NAMA). We wish our new tenants every happiness in their new homes
