Yes, it’s that time of year again.  Time to dust off your gardening tools and get back into the garden.  Our gardening competition can showcase our wonderful gardens and open spaces maintained to prize winning standards.

The categories for our competition are:

• Best individual garden - a prize is up for grabs for the most colourful & maintained garden
• Best garden in a small space - for the creative tenants who make the best of a small space to include balconies
• Best hanging basket - open to tenants who maintain hanging baskets outside their home
• Best green fingered youth - children displaying their plants, fruit, vegetables or maybe a fairy garden?  (This category will be awarded by the Housing Officer and not open to public vote)

If you are not a keen gardener yourself, you can nominate a neighbour who has a delightful front garden, balcony, hanging basket or container. Tenants who are interested in the gardening competition this year, contact your Housing Officer or log your interest by phoning 01 820 0002 or email info@neha.ie

Your Housing Officer will take photographs of your garden and shortlisted entries in each category will be posted on our website.  North & East tenants can vote for their favourite garden on our website 

Closing date for entries is the 27th July 2018 and selected gardens will be on the website from the 30th July 2018.  Tenants and the general public have 2 weeks to vote for the winning categories. Voting closes - 10th August 2018 at 4pm
