North and East Housing Association is delighted to announce the appointment of John Cunniffe as Chairperson of its Board of Directors. John is a long-serving member of the Board of NEHA and has previously served in the role of Vice-Chairperson.

John Cunniffe has vast experience in the property sector, having previously worked across several highly regulated industries managing property portfolios and facilities management. He has a particular interest in promoting good governance, accountability and transparency having previously worked with a large international NGO.

He succeeds John Ryan who stood down as Chairperson following a successful four years leading the Board.Mr Cunniffe also paid tribute to outgoing chair John Ryan: “I would like to thank John Ryan for his leadership as chair in the last number of years and I am delighted that John has agreed to remain on our Board of Directors.

Commenting on his appointment, John has said: “I am delighted to have been appointed chair of North and East Housing Association having seen the organisation evolve so much in the last number of years. I am strongly committed to working with the management team and supporting NEHA excellence in service.
