Covid 19 Update – October 21st**

North & East’s Annual report is now available.  The report provides highlights of our work from last year including the provision of 57 new homes to tenants from local authority housing lists. It was also the year in which the Association launched its Tenant Engagement Strategy laying out commitments that we are making to engage, communicate and actively listen to the tenants of North & East with a view to allowing their experiences effect the decisions made in all areas of the organisation.

North & East Housing Association is launching a new Strategic Plan for 2020-2024, having delivered on our previous strategic objective of delivering 700 homes by the end of 2020, this has effectively seen the doubling of the housing in management since 2016.

Many of your most common queries are dealt with in your Tenant Handbook which you would have received with your Tenancy Agreement. It is availablehere to download 

North & East is delighted to have been shortlisted for the category of Best Housing Development in the CiH Housing awards for our development at Millrace Court, Emmet St. Trim, Co. Meath.  This Development was purchased under a turnkey arrangement by North & East Housing Association in June 2018 with funding provided under Rebuilding Ireland and the Housing Finance Agency. Millrace Court is an example of the development of a town centre brown field site that not only provides good quality housing for those on Meath County Council’s waiting lists but also enhances the streetscape of a prominent street in a large rural town.

Following on from last September’s successful art classes, a special Christmas themed class was held in Connect Resource Centre, Moneymore. Led again by Philomena, all present produced some very impressive Christmas themed Art. New skills were leaned and new friendships made over coffee and cakes and of course paints.

The Noel McArdle Education Bursary is a resource that the Board of North & East started in memory of one of the founding Board members, Noel McArdle.  It is open to all tenants with a clear account for three months.
